As a COMSEC Operations Professional, you will work in a specialized IT environment, managing cryptographic materials, supporting systems, and ensuring logistics and compliance. Responsibilities include:

1. Responding to client requests and operating specialized systems.
2. Applying techniques and procedures for sensitive cryptographic services.
3. Managing equipment and logistical support with proper accounting measures.
4. Following information management, administrative, and policy guidelines.

You must have:

• A university degree or college diploma in a related field such as Computer/Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or IT Security, or
• An acceptable combination of education, training, and relevant experience.

Note: The educational credentials must be recognized in Canada, and proof is required. Recent graduates within 12 months are eligible.

• Experience with IT service requests from clients.
• Recent experience (within the last five years) supporting software applications or IT hardware.
• Experience reviewing or contributing to technical documentation.

Recent school projects can be considered relevant experience.

Competencies such as IT knowledge, help desk support, service management, cognitive skills, communication, teamwork, results orientation, and integrity will be assessed later. Assets include experience managing COMSEC materials.

Overtime and standby duties may be required.
