Job summary
A music school in Alberta is seeking a warm and organized Front Desk Administrator to support scheduling, payments, and daily operations. This role involves greeting students and visitors and ensuring the front desk is a welcoming space. Ideal candidates will be friendly and customer-service oriented with strong organizational skills. Previous experience in administration or customer service is preferred.
Qualifications
- Friendly, professional demeanor while assisting students and visitors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with computers and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors in person and via phone.
- Manage scheduling of lessons and teacher calendars.
- Handle student registrations and payments.
- Assist with event coordination for recitals and workshops.
- Keep the front desk and common areas clean and welcoming.
Skills
We’re looking for a warm, reliable, and organized person to join our music school team! You’ll be the friendly face at our front desk, helping with scheduling, payments, and day-to-day admin so everything runs smoothly.
- Greet and assist students, parents, and visitors in person, over the phone, and via email
- Manage scheduling of lessons, teacher calendars, and room bookings
- Handle student registrations, payments, and attendance records
- Assist with event coordination (recitals, workshops, open houses)
- Ensure the front desk and common areas are clean, tidy, and welcoming
- Friendly, professional, and customer-service oriented
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfortable with basic computer applications
- Prior admin, front desk, or customer service experience preferred
