Whom you are working with :
Primarily you work alongside the IT team. However, the role involves regular interaction with non-technical staff, requiring the ability to translate technical jargon into user-friendly language. A professional attitude and ability to provide outstanding customer service to every member of every department in our company is essential.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. to 5 : 00 p.m. in the office.Resolve daily technical issues reported by end users in the companyMake effective use of ticketing system to record, track, and follow-up on open incidents and ensure resolution within the established SLAsTroubleshoot problems with laptops, desktops, cell phones and other equipment and perform hardware replacements or upgrades as neededProvide technical support for Microsoft Windows operating systems and applications, Microsoft 365, and custom AFD line of business applications.Provide training and guidance to end users on new and existing applications as requiredLiaise with vendors and service providers to ensure ongoing support and maintenance of systemsAssist in creating and maintaining system documentation and operational support documentsStay informed on new or emerging trends and technologies that provide benefits to the organization, business partners, and / or customers.Desktop lifecycle managementProvide support and make use of a wide range of IT related platformsPlan and execute various IT projects as instructed by the IT ManagerMaintain local infrastructure, such as physical servers, networking, service equipment, printers, POS machines, wireless equipment, and firewallsWorking with the IT team to identify and work towards IT service improvementsPromote and implement automation to replace manual processesEscalation of IT issues to higher levels where necessarySupport and champion IT policies and proceduresOther related duties as required or assignedWhat you need to succeed :
Excellent computer and analytic skillsDemonstrate an understanding and technical ability of key skills, such as networking, problem solving, backup and recovery, server hardware, desktop support and firewall equipmentExperience with training employees with the ability to transfer knowledge to others on learning new processes and systems would be considered an assetProfessional written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, demanding environmentHighly Valued Experience / Skills / Education :
4+ years’ experience and technical ability using and troubleshooting windows desktops and server operating systems and hardware.Microsoft Certified : Windows 10 and / or Windows 11Microsoft Certified : Microsoft 365 FundamentalsCompTIA A+CompTIA Network+ITILv4 Foundation3+ years of IT support experience with Windows Server administration2+ years of M365 Technologies (Cloud, AD)Experience with Windows 10 / 11 and Windows Server OS (Server 2012-2022), Active Directory and Azure AD / Entra ID administrationFundamental knowledge of network security best practices, Firewall networking and configuration, TCP / IP networking, LAN / WAN environments (DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.)We are looking for the knowledge, experience, and the right attitude. Programming experience, or the ability to read and understand code, would be considered highly valuable. Showing the ability to be able to code and automate manual processes using C#, Python, PowerShell, or other languages and no / low-code solutions such as Power Automate would be an asset.
