Job summary

A leading global productivity partner for mining and construction is seeking an Area Sales Manager in Kathu, Northern Cape. This role involves promoting Epiroc Underground Capital Equipment, managing customer relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. This position requires extensive travel across the Northern Cape and a customer-centric mindset.

Qualifications

  • Matric certificate with a technical qualification or equivalent experience in underground mining or capital equipment sales.
  • At least 5 years of proven sales experience in the mining or heavy equipment sector, preferably with underground mining operations.
  • Knowledge of Epiroc and/or AARD product lines is a strong advantage.
  • A solid understanding of mining operations, customer needs, and equipment applications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • A valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively across the Northern Cape.

Overview

Your mission as an Area Sales Manager

Are you passionate about underground mining and experienced with mining equipment? As an Area Sales Manager for Epiroc Underground Capital Equipment (including AARD) in the Northern Cape, you’ll play a key role in driving the sales and market growth in the region. You’ll be responsible for managing and expanding customer relationships, developing new business opportunities, and collaborating with our service and support teams to deliver solutions that improve efficiency, safety, and sustainability in mining operations.

What you’ll do
