Job summary
A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Data Centre Technician based in Randburg. The ideal candidate should have qualifications in Facilities Management and relevant experience in hospitality and customer service. Responsibilities include preparing meeting rooms, monitoring space usage, and ensuring maintenance standards are met. The position requires a matric certificate and a valid driver's license.
Qualifications
- Qualification or related qualification in Facilities Management, Property Management, Project Management or Operations Management.
- 3 years relevant experience in Hospitality and Facilities Management.
- Valid South African driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Meeting room preparation in line with client layout requests.
- Monitor and report on space usage.
- Visual inspection to ensure maintenance standards.
Skills
Education
Our client has an opportunity available for a Data Centre Technician based in Randburg.
- Qualification or related qualification in Facilities Management, Property Management, Project Management or Operations Management.
- Matric certificate.
- Valid South African driver’s license.
- 3 years relevant experience in Hospitality, Customer Facing Service and Facilities Management.
- General maintenance knowledge would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of the OHS Act, ISO 9001, Quality Management, Risk management, Property law and Contractual law.

- Related FM formal qualification.
- Meeting room preparation in line with client layout requests.
- Monitor and report on space usage.
- Visual inspection to ensure maintenance standards.
- Develop effective and customer focused and proactive relationships at all levels in the customer chain.
- Develop effective communication lines and relationships with customers on site.
- Put in place mechanisms, processes and procedures to ensure effective monitoring of performance related to quality management and standards.
