• Identify, target, and develop relationships with prospective clients seeking translation and localisation services across Africa and international markets.

• Generate sales leads through research, networking, cold calling, and attending relevant industry events and conferences.

• Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospect engagement to closing deals and overseeing successful client onboarding.

• Collaborate closely with internal project managers, linguists, and support teams to deliver high-quality solutions aligned with client needs.

• Prepare tailored proposals, deliver persuasive presentations, and negotiate competitive pricing and service agreements.

• Maintain accurate pipelines and timely reporting through our CRM and business development platforms.

• Keep current with translation technology trends, regulatory requirements, and competitive developments in the language services sector.

• Promote our brand at local and international industry events, online forums, and in client meetings, contributing to our position as a top-tier translation service provider.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Languages, International Relations, or related field.

• Proven track record (2+ years) in B2B sales, business development, or account management, ideally within the translation, localisation, or broader language service industries.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; confidence in presenting and networking with a diverse, global client base.

• Strong analytical, organisational, and time management abilities, with the drive to meet and exceed ambitious targets.

• Understanding of translation and localisation workflows, market trends, and technologies is highly advantageous.

• Fluency in English is essential; additional South African or international language skills are a significant asset.
