Retail POS & Service Supervisor
Job summary
A leading retail company is looking for a candidate to manage point of sale operations, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient operational management. The role requires a Grade 12 and a relevant Retail/Business Management qualification, along with strong managerial and customer-focused skills. Candidates should have a solid understanding of financial management, stock control, and customer service excellence. This position is located in South Africa, Wes-Kaap and involves a permanent contract.
Qualifications
- Must have Grade 12 and relevant Retail/Business Management qualification.
- Experience in retail/FMCG and understanding of merchandising is essential.
- Knowledge of financial management principles and customer service is required.
Responsibilities
- Direct and control operational activities at the point of sale.
- Manage stock and cash securely while minimizing shrinkage.
- Train and motivate shop assistants to deliver service excellence.
- Resolve customer queries in line with company policies.
- Promote the Clicks clubcard to achieve participation targets.
- Ensure compliance with security measures and manage stock effectively.
