A leading agribusiness is seeking an experienced Category Manager in Upington, Northern Cape. The ideal candidate will negotiate supplier agreements and manage gross profit margins. Key responsibilities also include category determination. Candidates should have experience with vineyard insecticides and irrigation, and be able to work independently while demonstrating strong human relations and a results-driven approach.
Qualifications
- Experience in Vineyard insecticides.
- Experience in Irrigation.
- Ability to function independently.
- Sound human relations.
- High level of self-initiative.
Responsabilités
- Negotiate and maintain suppliers' agreements in assigned categories.

Introduction An Agritalent client, a leading agribusiness, seeks a Category Manager with experience in Fencing, Steel, Irrigation, and Vineyard Equipment.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Procurement Manager and will be responsible for:
- Negotiating and maintaining suppliers' agreements in assigned categories.
- Management of gross profit margins.
- Series / Category determination.
- Experience in Vineyard insecticides.
- Experience in Irrigation.
- Must be able to function independently.
- Sound human relations.
- High level of self-initiative and results driven.
