Job summary

A leading retail company is looking for a candidate to manage point of sale operations, ensuring excellent customer service and efficient operational management. The role requires a Grade 12 and a relevant Retail/Business Management qualification, along with strong managerial and customer-focused skills. This position is located in South Africa, Wes-Kaap and involves a permanent contract.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 and relevant Retail/Business Management qualification.
• Experience in retail/FMCG and understanding of merchandising is essential.
• Knowledge of financial management principles and customer service is required.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control operational activities at the point of sale.
• Manage stock and cash securely while minimizing shrinkage.
• Train and motivate shop assistants to deliver service excellence.
• Resolve customer queries in line with company policies.
• Promote the Clicks clubcard to achieve participation targets.
• Ensure compliance with security measures and manage stock effectively.
