Job summary
A leading travel consultancy in South Africa is seeking a Staff Travel Consultant to manage the booking confirmation process and ensure the accuracy of travel arrangements. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of senior experience in the travel industry, be proficient in communication and data accuracy, and possess a tertiary qualification in Travel & Tourism. This role emphasizes attention to detail, product knowledge, and a commitment to sustainability in wildlife conservation.
Qualifications
- 4-5 years’ experience at a Senior level.
- Experience in handling customer relationships and promoting travel products.
- General product knowledge on Southern and East Africa.
Responsibilities
- Manage and complete the booking confirmation process on the Wilderness Window.
- Keep all booking information updated and ensure CRM accuracy.
- Request and negotiate rates from suppliers.
