SUMMARY:

Our client is an innovative technology company focused on transforming how small and mid-sized businesses manage their finances and operations. They design intelligent, automated systems that streamline accounting, payroll, compliance, and payment workflows — all supported by a powerful backend infrastructure and real-time data integration.

They are currently looking for a Front-End Web Developer to help build modern, intuitive web applications that deliver a seamless user experience. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values clean and efficient design, and enjoys collaborating with backend and automation teams to create scalable, user-friendly systems.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• A tertiary qualification in IT, Software Development, or related field is advantageous.
• 3 – 5 Years working experience in Front-end Web Development
• Excellent written and spoken English & Afrikaans communication skills.

Technical Skills & Knowledge:

Required:

• Proven experience in front-end web development with .NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft SQL Server or similar databases for data integration.
• Experience with web service implementation and API integration using ASP.NET.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Knowledge of AI tools and their application in web development (e.g., code generation, testing).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for design and usability.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred:

• Experience with TypeScript or other JavaScript supersets.
• Familiarity with CSS frameworks like Bootstrap.
• Knowledge of progressive web apps and SEO best practices.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain front-end web applications using ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Implement responsive and visually appealing designs provided by the UI designer.
• Integrate web services and APIs built with ASP.NET and connect to Microsoft SQL Server databases.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimise web applications for performance and scalability.
• Incorporate third-party libraries and APIs as needed for enhanced functionality.
• Utilise AI tools to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality standards.
• Stay informed about the latest web development trends, AI advancements, and best practices.

Working Conditions:

• This role is primarily remote, with the option to work from a shared office if preferred.
• The developer will collaborate with expert business and software developers.
