What You'll Do
  • Proactively seek and hunt for new leads and leverage sales tools to seamlessly onboard merchants to Qashier's POS and payment solutions.
  • Generate new sales opportunities through calls, emails, direct sales, and referrals, with a focus on retail, F&B, and beauty merchants.
  • You'll be part of a dynamic, high-performing team where your sales experience and drive are expected to help you thrive and make a meaningful impact from day one.
Consult and Close Deals
  • Act as a trusted advisor to merchants by understanding their unique needs and recommending Qashier's comprehensive POS, Payment, and Loyalty system as the perfect solution to optimise their business operations.
  • Close deals efficiently by presenting the benefits and unique features of our POS solutions.
Onboard New Merchants
  • Work closely with the Operations team to set up and deploy Qashier's POS systems according to each merchant's requirements, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience.
  • Guide merchants through the installation and setup of Qashier's POS system, providing excellent support throughout the process.
  • Work with internal teams such as Marketing, Operations, and Account Management to refine acquisition strategies and ensure that we exceed sales targets.
  • Support the team in identifying new growth opportunities by providing feedback and insights from merchants.

Requirements
  • Experience in Sales: Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales, merchant acquisition, or business development, ideally within the payments or b2b related fintech industries.
  • Understanding of the POS Landscape: Strong knowledge of the Malaysian POS ecosystem, including POS systems, Payment Systems, Loyalty systems, methods, and market trends, is highly advantageous.
  • Proven Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with the ability to build rapport and present solutions effectively to merchants.
  • Team Player with Independence: Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also taking initiative and working independently to drive results.
  • Educational Background: A diploma or degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required for candidates with strong, relevant experience.
