- Conducting scheduled maintenance and inspections on marine equipment and systems
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing issues with marine machinery, engines, and other related components
- Carrying out repairs and overhauls to restore equipment to optimal working condition
- Providing technical support and guidance to vessel crew on the operation and maintenance of marine systems
- Maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities and equipment performance
- Collaborating with the team to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices
- Participating in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives
- Relevant degree or diploma in marine engineering or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a marine service engineer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of marine systems, including engines, generators, valves, pumps, and hydraulics
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills to liaise with vessel crew and stakeholders
