The Perfumes and Cosmetics (P&C) Retail Coordinator will oversee Basel’s perfume and cosmetics categories across multiple travel retail locations in Asia. This role is responsible for driving sell-through, executing in-store promotions, optimizing inventory flow, and strengthening Basel’s presence in the travel retail sector.

This is a travel-intensive role (minimum 30% regional travel) with a challenging and dynamic schedule. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter who requires minimal oversight, able to work independently while managing multiple store operations. • Oversee Basel’s perfume & cosmetics categories in multiple travel retail stores.
• Conduct regular site visits across different airport retail locations to ensure smooth operations and adherence to brand merchandising standards.
• Work closely with store managers, beauty advisors, and front-line retail staff to enhance customer engagement and in-store experience.
• Track and analyze sales performance, stock levels, and market trends to maximize sell-through.
• Utilize Odoo 16 ERP system for inventory tracking, sales data analysis, and reporting.

• Work closely with a diverse range of stakeholders including store personnel, luxury brands, airport authorities, and HQ.
• Develop strong interpersonal relationships with store personnel, understanding their needs, challenges, and ways to improve performance.
• Foster a collaborative and respectful working culture, ensuring smooth coordination between different teams across various cultural backgrounds.
• Act as the primary liaison between Basel HQ and store teams, ensuring strong communication and cooperation.

• Plan and execute in-store activations, fragrance sampling events, and beauty masterclasses to attract travelers.
• Coordinate exclusive travel retail promotions and partnerships with luxury brands.
• Work closely with airport retail decision makers to secure prime display locations and optimize Basel’s category visibility.
• Support brand launches and marketing campaigns across Basel’s travel retail network.

• Monitor and manage sell-through rates and stock levels, ensuring efficient inventory replenishment.
• Work with logistics and procurement teams to align stock movements with demand cycles.
• Utilize Odoo 16 ERP system to track inventory, generate sales reports, and ensure proper stock management.
• Prevent stock shortages or overstocking issues by working closely with store managers.

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with airport authorities, in-store teams, and brand partners.
• Identify and pursue opportunities to expand Basel’s operations into new travel retail locations.

• Minimum 30% regional travel required (frequent trips across Asia-Pacific).
• Role will involve tight travel schedules, last-minute changes, and irregular hours due to the nature of the duty-free industry.
• Candidate must be comfortable working independently on the road and managing multiple store locations efficiently.

• Experience working with travel retailers, airport operators, or duty-free brands.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple locations and priorities simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with experience in managing promotions and retail activations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Experience using Odoo 16 ERP system for inventory management, reporting, and data analysis (highly preferred).

• Experience working with travel retail operators.
• Familiarity with luxury perfumes, cosmetics, or skincare brands.
• Knowledge of travel retail market trends and consumer behaviors.
• Fluency in additional Asian languages a plus.
