About the job Business Development Manager
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end sales cycle for high-value projects, from prospecting and negotiation to contract closure.
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to expand brand presence in the luxury interiors market.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with architects, interior designers, property developers, and UHNW clients.
- Drive business growth through targeted campaigns, partnerships, and participation in major exhibitions and events.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and maintain competitive advantage.
- Represent Lux & Beyond at trade shows, networking functions, and client presentations with professionalism and authority.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery and premium client experience.
- Monitor and report on performance to ensure sales targets and KPIs are consistently achieved.
Requirements
- 35 years proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (luxury interiors, furnishings, or related sectors preferred).
- Strong track record of securing high-value contracts and managing key accounts.
- Polished, well-presented, and confident in engaging high-level clients.
- Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken); additional languages such as Mandarin, Malay, Italian, or Portuguese are advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with CRM tools preferred.
- Strategic thinker with a proactive, results-driven approach.
- Able to provide two direct reporting references from previous employment.
