As a Private Bank Operations Lead in the Barclays’ Operations team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the growth of the Private Banking Business in Singapore with service delivery and oversight of the Private Banking Operations functions; effectively managing and maintaining processes, control and risk management, and compliance with MAS regulations, sitting within Barclays Execution Services (BX), providing services to Private Bank and Wealth Management (PBWM).
You should possess an exceptionally strong understanding of Private Investment Banking, strong KYC experience, working and leading within an operations environment. You will have accountability for client lifecycle management, investment operations, and credit operations service performance.
The role holder will be a Material Risk Personal (MRP) and therefore requires experience of Risk & Control frameworks. You will have direct line accountability for 4 operations colleagues. Fluency in Mandarin and/or Bahasa Indonesia will be a plus, as the portfolio covers Greater China and Indonesia stakeholders, where language proficiency will help influence the function's direction, aligned with strategic and tactical priorities.
