The Finance Manager will oversee the company’s day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, internal controls, financial reporting, budgeting, treasury, tax, and regulatory compliance. The Finance Manager will develop and maintain financial systems and controls, improve processes and procedures, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and accounting standards. He/she will lead a team of finance professionals and work closely with other members of the executive team to help guide its efforts toward profitability and long-term success.

Responsibilities:
Finance Operations:
- Manage daily accounting functions including payables, receivables, payroll, reconciliations, and the general ledger.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain financial controls, oversee audits, and ensure compliance with ZATCA and CMA regulations (e.g. VAT, zakat, and statutory filings).
- Oversee implementation and optimization of finance systems and tools.
- Monitor treasury activities, including cash flow, liquidity, and working capital.
Reporting & Decision Support:
- Lead internal and external financial reporting.
- Prepare dashboards, variance analysis, and profitability insights to support executive decision-making.
- Conduct monthly budget vs. actual reviews and flag areas for corrective action.
Budgeting & Forecasting:
- Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting cycles across departments.
- Monitor budget adherence and advise on financial planning and resource allocation.
- Prepare accurate short- and long-term cash flow projections.
Strategy Execution:
- Translate strategic plans into operational budgets and departmental objectives.
- Monitor financial KPIs and support strategic initiatives with relevant financial insights.
Systems & Processes:
- Develop, document, and improve financial procedures and internal policies for scalability and risk mitigation.
- Ensure finance operations are well integrated with cross-functional workflows across the company.
Collaboration & Improvement:
- Provide financial input to procurement, contract management, and product pricing.
- Partner with product and operations teams to analyze unit economics and optimize margins.
Team & Vendor Management:
- Supervise and support junior finance staff, ensuring high quality and timely execution.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities.
- Manage relationships with banks, external auditors, and regulatory authorities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Professional certification such as SOCPA, CPA, CMA, or CME-1 is preferred.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in a regulated environment such as fintech, wealth management, or financial services. Experience in startups or high-growth environments is a strong advantage.
