Job Description

Responsible for managing the company's financial resources, focusing on cash flow, debt, and capital markets to ensure liquidity, minimize financial risk, and maximize returns. This role supports financial strategy, manages relationships with financial institutions, and ensures compliance with financial covenants.

Responsibilities
  1. Handle cash investments and maturities to ensure funds are available when needed.
  2. Manage daily treasury activities, including cash flow and financial resources, to meet SDC's financial obligations.
  3. Oversee borrowings, debt, and capital management, and allocate cash balances to reduce costs and ensure fund availability.
  4. Manage banking activities such as opening and closing bank accounts to ensure smooth operations.
  5. Negotiate interest rates with banks to maximize returns on fixed deposits.
  6. Assess investment opportunities in financial instruments (e.g., bonds, sukuks) to improve SDC's ROI.
  7. Develop plans to mitigate currency and interest rate risks.
  8. Monitor tax levels and prepare reports on taxes owed to keep stakeholders informed.
  9. Prepare financial reports on cash positions and liquidity to update senior leadership.
  10. Identify and negotiate with financiers to secure funding for SDC activities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or equivalent from a recognized and accredited university.
  • Master's degree in any related field from a recognized and accredited university is preferred.
