A leading luxury hospitality group in Saudi Arabia is seeking a talented and artistic PASTRY SOUS CHEF to elevate their dessert offerings. • Oversee daily pastry section operations, ensuring high standards of quality and hygiene.
• Prepare and execute a wide range of luxury desserts, pastries, and confections.
• Develop and create intricate and visually stunning pastry artwork and showpieces.
• Innovate new artistic concepts to enhance dessert presentation.
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior pastry chefs, fostering team growth.
• Contribute to the creation of seasonal and special event dessert menus.
• Conduct research and development for new recipes and artistic techniques.
• Monitor inventory, manage stock, and assist in cost control.
• Ensure strict adherence to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

• Minimum of 5-7 years’ progressive experience in high-volume, luxury hotel or fine-dining pastry kitchens.
• Proven experience as a Pastry Sous Chef or highly skilled Senior Pastry Chef in a similar environment.
• Exceptional expertise in all aspects of pastry production.
• Demonstrable artistic talent and a strong portfolio of intricate pastry artwork, showpieces, and dessert plating.
• Proficiency in various artistic mediums applicable to pastry (e.g., sugar work, chocolate sculpting, edible painting).
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills, able to motivate and manage a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Culinary degree or equivalent professional qualification in Pastry Art
• Highly creative, innovative, and detail-oriented.
• Passion for excellence and continuous improvement.
• Ability to adapt to new trends and techniques.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential.
