A leading retail company in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Planning Engineer to oversee project planning and scheduling for large-scale building projects. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and possess 3–5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in Primavera, Power BI, and MS Project is essential, along with a required PMP certification. Responsibilities include developing project schedules, monitoring progress, and preparing analytical reports to ensure timely project delivery.

The Planning Engineer is responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring progress, and supporting project control activities to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are accurately tracked.
- Monitor project progress and performance, analyze deviations, and recommend corrective actions to keep projects on schedule.
- Prepare regular reports and dashboards using Power BI and MS Project to provide management with clear insights into project status, resource utilization, and potential risks.
- Support project control and planning processes, including risk management, resource allocation, and schedule optimization for large-scale building projects and commercial complexes.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- 3–5 years of relevant experience
- Experience in large-scale building projects and commercial complexes (such as universities, schools, and hospitals)
- PMP certification is required
- Proficiency in Primavera, Power BI, and MS Project
