Job summary
A leading sporting goods retailer in Gelang Patah, Malaysia, seeks a dedicated individual to manage warehouse operations. Responsibilities include ensuring safety, overseeing goods movement, and coordinating with teams for efficient operations. Ideal candidates are passionate about sports and eager to learn. Training will be provided for equipment operation. This role offers a dynamic work environment with an emphasis on teamwork and improvement.

Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety of people and security of goods.
- Manage continuous improvement process to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Participate in the warehouse receiving (inbound) process.
- Work with teams to execute the receiving process for containers.
- Responsible for movement of goods into the warehouse.
- Ensure data accuracy to prevent discrepancies.
- Ensure safe moving and handling of items during reception and stocking.
- Coordinate with internal and external parties for smooth operations.
- Operate reach-truck and pallet runner (training provided).
Skills
- Help ensure the safety of people and security of goods.
- Manage continuous improvement process and also improving level of satisfaction for customers
- Take part in the warehouse receiving (inbound) process—one of the most important warehouse operations.
- Work together in teams to Plan & Execute the receiving process, to ensure all containers from port are received within the stipulated time.
- Responsible for the movement of goods into the Warehouse, with proper segregation (by nature of sports)
- Ensuring the accuracy of the data received from the containers to prevent discrepancies.
- Ensure the safe and efficient moving and handling of all items during reception and stocking to avoid any damages or injuries.
- Work closely with the other teammates and manager to ensure daily activities are completed without delay and to ensure day-to-day activities are carried out systematically.
- Coordination and liaising with internal and external party to ensure smooth operations
- Operates reach-truck and pallet runner (Training will be provided).
