Responsibilities

• Ensuring items are securely packed for transport.
• Checking delivery documents for accuracy.

Job description

Receiving & Storing

Unloading incoming goods, checking for damages/discrepancies, and organizing stock in designated areas.

Order Fulfillment

Picking, packing, and preparing customer orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy.

Inventory Management

Conducting stock counts, updating records, and reporting low stock levels.

Stock Maintenance

Keeping storage spaces clean, organized, and adhering to safety procedures.

Lorry Attendant/Delivery Duties

Loading/Unloading

Physically assisting with loading goods onto the lorry and unloading at delivery points.

Securing Goods

Ensuring items are securely packed and tied down for safe transport.

Documentation

Checking and verifying delivery documents (delivery orders, invoices).

Delivery

Safely transporting goods to customers, branches, or suppliers.

Vehicle Care

Performing basic vehicle checks (fluids, tires, lights) and maintaining vehicle cleanliness.

General/Other

Assisting with postal, purchasing, and logistics tasks as needed.

Reporting to supervisors on work progress and vehicle issues.
