Job summary

As a Senior Software Engineer in Test, you will collaborate deeply within our community of developers while guiding other engineers in strengthening their test automation competencies across backend, fullstack, and mobile domains.
Reporting to the Software Engineering Manager II, Test Automation, you will lead programs to improve automated testing methodologies for both backend services and frontend applications. You'll help ensure systems are reliable, scalable, and meet both technical and user expectations. Guiding other engineers through automation practices and innovations will be important in your daily role. You will be fully onsite, working from our Petaling Jaya office in Malaysia
- Design and implement automated testing frameworks, scripting tests that validate end-to-end performance and functionality for backend services and frontend applications.
- Evaluate and refine testing tools and processes, identifying opportunities to enhance functional, security, and performance testing.
- Optimize test data, scenarios, and cases for clearer insights and broader coverage while pinpointing defects and maintaining system reliability.
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to embed automated testing strategies that improve the quality of deliverables and meet technical standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to teams in adopting and scaling automation practices for testing across backend, mobile, and fullstack solutions.
- Lead simulation testing that handles high traffic or variable loads to measure system stability and response times.
- Advocate for product quality by interpreting user needs and mapping test designs to real-world scenarios.
