A leading convenience store chain is seeking a qualified candidate to manage a team responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance of equipment across various locations. The role requires strong technical knowledge, effective problem-solving skills, and budget management capabilities. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in maintenance management and be familiar with SAP/CMMS systems. Opportunities for site assessment and strategic improvements are integral to enhancing operational efficiency.
To lead a group of handyman within the branch who will be performing preventive maintenance (PM) for selected equipment
Responsible to provide all required technical advice, guidance and leadership to this handyman and ensure the PM schedules are completed as per plan
Accountable in managing spare part and spare equipment ordering, movement and inventory reconciliations within target variances and budget
To lead a group of handyman within the branch who will be performing corrective maintenance (CM) for selected equipment/jobs
Responsible to ensure all maintenance logged tickets especially sales and safety related are attended and fixed within agreed SLA by both in house technician and outsource vendors/contractors
Proactively carry out breakdown / failure analysis using reports/KPI tools from CMMS system and come up with improvement plans in prolonged the equipment life cycle
Proactively identify opportunity to convert more scopes into self-perform vs outsourcing
Accountable to ensure all maintenance works including spare parts are managed within the approved/allocated budget
Accountable to manage overtime cost for the handyman within allocated budget
To perform cost analysis using reports/KPI tools from CMMS system and come up with improvement plans
Responsible to carry out site condition assessment as when visit the store
Carry out other ad-hoc projects or duties as assigned by superior
Minimum Diploma in Engineering or relevant qualifications
At least 3 years working experiences in related field
Experience with multiple site
Experience in managing a group of service technician
Possess good technical knowledge and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of SAP/CMMS system
Required to travel within the managed area as when necessary
Able to take up phone call off working hours as when required
Experience in managing maintenance for large number of sites (approximately >200 sites) is an added advantage
