An educational institution in Malaysia is seeking a compassionate and proactive School Counselor. The role involves supporting the emotional, academic, and social development of students at primary and secondary levels. Candidates should possess a relevant degree in Counseling or a related field, and experience working with children. The position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster a supportive environment and collaborate effectively with staff and parents to help students thrive.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, Education, or a related field.
- Proven experience in working with children and adolescents in a school setting.
- Ability to build trust and maintain professional boundaries.
Responsabilités
- Provide individual and group counseling to students on various issues.
- Identify students' needs through observation and develop intervention plans.
- Collaborate with teachers and school leaders to support students.
