Qualifications

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safety Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Training: Provide safety training and toolbox talks to site workers and staff.
  • Incident Reporting: Investigate and report on‑site accidents and incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Compliance: Ensure all site activities comply with local and international safety regulations and company policies. Act as the company’s liaison with relevant authorities such as DOSH, CIDB, Bomba, on matters concerning HSE.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training sessions.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and develop safety plans to mitigate potential risks.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Valid Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) certification from DOSH (Department of Occupational Safety and Health) Malaysia.
  • Lifting Supervisor certification is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Ability to conduct thorough investigations and write detailed reports.
  • Proficiency in using safety management software and tools.
  • Familiarity with construction processes and safety equipment.
