Job summary

A leading construction safety firm in Malaysia is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to oversee safety activities at construction sites. The role includes ensuring compliance with safety regulations and facilitating safety training for personnel. Ideal candidates will be registered with JKKP and possess relevant qualifications. Qualifications

  • Registered with JKKP as a Site Safety Supervisor (Yellow Book holder).
  • Solid understanding of site safety operations and procedures.
  • Experience in Civil Engineering is an added advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise day-to-day safety activities at the construction site to ensure compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure all workers use the required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as helmets, gloves, welding shades, and other safety gear at all times.
  • Investigate workplace accidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Address and act promptly on safety concerns raised by workers.
  • Organize and facilitate safety training programs for site personnel.
  • Develop and implement emergency procedures in coordination with site management.
  • Receive, review, and act on safety reports and concerns submitted by site workers.
  • Serve as a liaison between workers and management and clients regarding safety issues and workplace organization.
  • Introduce measures to minimize workplace accidents and improve overall safety culture.
  • Prepare and submit documentation required by JKKP and other regulatory authorities.
  • Arrange and coordinate site safety committee meetings.
  • Liaise with JKKP on safety matters and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • To ensure any task given by the Management from time to time is fully executed with full responsibility.
Qualifications
