Job summary
A food manufacturing company in Kuching is seeking a Male Security Officer to manage access control, monitor safety, and conduct inspections. Candidates should have at least SPM qualification, preferably 1-2 years of related experience in factory security, and be capable of shift work. A disciplined approach is valued, and prior military or police experience is a plus. Salary starts at RM1.7K based on qualifications and experience.
Qualifications
- Must be male applicants only.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in security, preferably in a food manufacturing setting.
- Prior experience in armed forces or police is an advantage.
Responsibilities
- Control and monitor entry and exit points for all individuals and vehicles.
- Verify authorization and issue passes for access to premises.
- Conduct inspections on delivery trucks and personnel.
- Perform scheduled patrols to ensure safety and detect irregularities.

Education
Responsibilities: To control and monitor all entry and exit points for employees, visitors, contractors, and vehicles; to verify authorization and issue appropriate passes to ensure only authorized individuals enter company premises; to operate gates and automatic barriers according to scheduled and secure them after working hours; to conduct inspections on delivery trucks and personnel to prevent the entry of prohibited or non‑halal items; to perform scheduled foot patrols using QR scanning systems to monitor safety and detect irregularities; to monitor dormitory's resident movements in and out of the premises and prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas; to maintain cleanliness and orderliness of guard posts, equipment and logbooks at all times and to report incidents, unsafe acts, or security breaches promptly to the Security Supervisor or OSH team.

- Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification with basic literacy and numeracy skills for accurate reporting.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in factory or food manufacturing security, is preferred. Salary RM1.7K and above depending on the qualification and experience.
- Prior experience in armed forces, police or auxiliary services is an added advantage, while disciplined fresh candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Able to work on shift.
