Job summary

A prominent company in the energy sector in Malaysia is seeking an experienced HSE professional for an offshore role. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience, a relevant degree in Petroleum or Engineering with a specialization in QHSE, and strong knowledge in HSE standards. This position involves providing safety training and coaching supervisors to enhance their leadership skills. Preference will be given to Malaysians, although expatriates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience in relevant scope working offshore.
• Knowledge of HSE standards and safety processes.

Responsibilities

• Coaching supervisors to promote safety leadership skills.

Job description

• Knowledgeable in ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHA 18001, ISM, ISPS standards and HSE
• Strong passion in HSE.
• Provide safety training, review and highlight any knowledge gaps on safety processes offshore
• Provide coaching to supervisor’s leadership skills to promote safety
• Preference shall be given to Malaysians, however expatriates personnel are acceptable.
• This position will be offshore, 28/28 days coverage per campaign
• Minimum requirement: a relevant Petroleum / Engineering Degree with specialization in QHSE or related discipline and at least 10 years of working experience in relevant scope working offshore.
