Job summary
A leading manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Product Development Engineer responsible for designing and enhancing their product range. The role entails managing the full product lifecycle, collaborating across teams, and integrating advanced technologies. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 5-8 years of relevant experience, particularly in the furniture or metal industries. Proficiency in CAD tools and project management is essential, along with fluency in Mandarin to liaise with clients.
Qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in new product development in furniture or metal fabrication.
- Strong technical skills in product design and CAD/3D modelling.
- Proven experience with embedded system hardware and software integration.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop new products, focusing on usability and sustainability.
- Support OEM customer product enquiries with feasibility studies and proposals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure practical and cost-efficient designs.
