Job summary

A leading energy company in Kulim, Kedah, is seeking an experienced professional to supervise factory equipment maintenance and improve overall efficiency. The ideal candidate will have at least a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields and a minimum of 3 years of experience in factory settings, particularly cleanrooms. Strong communication skills in Mandarin, English, and Malay are required to liaise with international teams. Responsibilities

Supervise the identification and rectification of equipment safety hazards; maintain equipment according to safety and environmental protection requirements; summarize and report on the factory's equipment safety verification status.

Improve overall equipment efficiency (OEE), extend mean time between failures (MTBF), and shorten mean time to repair (MTTR).

Supervise the compilation and updating of equipment maintenance manuals and oversee maintenance implementation.

Organize the analysis of difficult faults and build an equipment knowledge base.

Promote the optimization and transformation of process equipment to improve efficiency and reduce failures.

Review spare parts lists, control inventory, and reduce consumption costs.

Supervise the development of spare parts replacement and upgrade plans.

Develop technician training plans and implement practical operation assessment systems.

Be responsible for improving equipment reliability, increasing equipment yield, carrying out special improvements, and continuously reducing process defects.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.

At least 3 years of experience in factory equipment maintenance, especially in cleanrooms.

Familiar with 5S, TPM, and other lean production principles and project management.

Familiar with mechanical design, mechanical principles, and electrical engineering.

Able to independently analyze equipment defects, develop and lead a team to implement equipment improvements.

Strong ability to work under pressure, excellent cross-departmental communication skills, and proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Malay (requires liaison with China headquarters leadership and suppliers).
