Job summary
A leading engineering firm is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to work in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for a 2-year contract. The role involves supervising engineering teams, managing complex projects in the oil and gas sector, and requires significant experience in refinery and petrochemical projects. The ideal candidate has a degree in Chemical Engineering and a proven track record in process engineering, including hands-on experience in startups and commissioning.
Qualifications
- At least 10-12 years engineering experience working on refineries, petrochemicals or oil and gas projects.
- At least 5 years engineering experience as a lead process engineer in reputable engineering and EPC companies.
- Involvement in 2 FEED or EPC detailed engineering experiences in refinery projects.
Responsibilities
- Supervise FEED & EPC consultants.
- Perform conventional aspects of process engineering.
- Manage workgroup schedules, budgets, and progress.
