Furs & Paws Veterinary Clinic is seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Nurse to join our dynamic team in Ipoh Perak. As a Veterinary Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional care and support to our beloved animal patients, ensuring their well-being and recovery. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work within a thriving veterinary practice that is committed to delivering the highest standard of veterinary services.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting veterinarians during examinations, procedures, and treatments
• Performing routine nursing duties, such as administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and providing post-operative care
• Preparing examination rooms, sterilizing equipment, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment
• Educating clients on animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures
• Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
• Providing compassionate, attentive, and patient-centric care to all animals

What we're looking for

• SPM, Diploma, or Degree in Veterinary Nursing or a related field (fresh graduates are welcome)
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and common medical conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and the veterinary team
• Proficient in providing basic first aid and critical care to animals
• Adaptable, organised, and able to work well under pressure
