Job summary

A healthcare facility in Johor Bahru is looking for Staff Nurse/Medical Assistant candidates. The position offers a salary range from RM 2100 to RM 5000, depending on experience. Responsibilities include planning nursing duties, ensuring patient care, and assisting during medical procedures. Candidates must hold a Diploma/Degree in Nursing/Medical Assistant, and fresh graduates are welcome to apply. The working hours are from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with additional shifts available.

Qualifications

Salary Range: Staff Nurse/Medical Assistant: RM 2100 – RM 5000 (Salary range is dependent on level of experience.)

The departments available are as follows:

• Operating theatre (OT) department
• Ward (Paediatrics/Labour Room/Nursery/General Medical Surgical)

Normal working hours: 8.30 am – 5.30 pm

2:00 pm - 9:15 pm

9:00 pm - 7:15 am

Job Description

• Plan and carry out nursing duties in accordance with established procedures and best practices.
• Be accountable and responsible for the care of assigned patients.
• Understand the importance of prompt actions in emergency and high-risk situations, ensuring quick response and appropriate care.
• Assist doctors during medical procedures, ensuring a sterile and efficient environment.
• Dispense medication according to doctors\' prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols.
• Participate in training and development programs to keep up with the latest medical practices and techniques.

Job Requirements

• Staff Nurse, Assistant Nurse and Medical Assistant candidates MUST possess at least a Diploma/Advanced Diploma/Degree in Nursing/Medical Assistant.
• Fresh Graduate without Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia (LJM) or Lembaga Pembantu Perubatan Malaysia (LPPM) are also welcome to apply.
• Post Basic will be an added advantage.
• Applicable for candidates with full working rights for Malaysia only.
