The EurofinsSAFER@WORK programme is designed to help companies set up advanced risk management protocols and contributes to limiting the impact of COVID-19 in the workplace. EurofinsSAFER@WORK program combines workplace surfaces and wastewater testing together with risk-based clinical testing, as well as relevant consultative, audit, and assurance services to assess and focus on areas where virus presence is likelier. This approach reduces cost and supports health authorities to allocate capacity constrained human COVID-19 testing where it is most needed.

Job Description – Cloud Engineer

Do you have practical experience in building medium to large IT Infrastructure environments? Are you able to discuss with the Business to understand their requirements and select/build solutions that will deliver according to their requirements? Are you able to move fast and adjust your solution on the fly as needed? We are looking for Senior and mid-level Engineers, who feel comfortable with the concept of Zero Trust Access architectures, and are specialized in Azure Cloud.

As part of the Project Team (GSC – NSC IT Infrastructure) you’ll be responsible to implement a Azure Cloud-Only/Hybrid-Cloud setup supporting a part of Eurofins’ Shared Services covering thousands of employees around the world. So your hands-on experience in both BUILD and RUN is what we’re after. You’ll be working with other, highly qualified Application/Storage/Compute/Network Engineers, in a cross-functional, specific deliverables oriented Team.

This position focuses on the deployment, configuration, and day-to-day administration of Azure PaaS services (Dynamics 365, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, etc.), working closely with application owners and architects to ensure environments are set up and running effectively. A big advantage of the role is that you’ll use your expertise, and have influence on what is being built.

Responsibilities

• Building and supporting the segregation of the different in scope solutions.
• Building and supporting the segregation of the different IT support zones.

Main activities, but not limited to, are:

• Implement and manage state of the art infrastructure building blocks for high available applications using all the latest innovation (public and hybrid cloud).
• Manage and perform daily operations on the defined building blocks: IAAS, PAAS, SAAS.
• Maintain provided Cloud IT services in collaboration with other IT teams and according to defined processes (e.g. Incident Management and Change Management).
• Deliver quality documentation: Procedures and Work instructions.
• Improve existing processes through sustainable solutions to recurring problems and enhancements to existing solutions by automation.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain infrastructure and PaaS instances for Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Fabric.
• Implement and manage environment governance, segregation, and compliance controls across Microsoft cloud PaaS services.
• Manage platform-level access and identity integrations (Entra ID, Conditional Access, roles/permissions) for Dynamics 365, Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Fabric.
• Support lifecycle operations for these platforms: environment provisioning, refreshes, backups, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
• Work closely with application/solution teams to ensure the required environments are provided, but without direct responsibility for functional or business-layer configuration.
• Ensure that the services comply with the set policies and standards and meet the agreed SLA’s.
• Specific Assignments:
• Create and support newly defined segregated Infra zones within Eurofins.
• Work together with the solutions teams on the solutions designs for the different Applications.
• Support the application migration activities into the new zones.

Requirements

• Strong experience with: Azure VMs, Subscriptions, Resources, Enterprise Applications, automation
• Good Azure Networking & Security knowledge: VNETs, Subnets, Peering, Network Security Groups
• Experience with Azure Entra ID and IAM concepts
• Strong PowerShell scripting for Microsoft cloud automation.
• Cloud backup solution knowledge and experience.
• Knowledge of Power Platform environment setup and management (Dataverse, Power Automate).
• Hands-on experience in administering Dynamics 365 environments.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric.
• A collaborative team player.
• Very good command of the English language.
• Ability to read, understand and create technical documentation of the delivered solutions (SOPs & setup guides).

Below skills will be an advantage:

• Deployment Automation - DevOps (IaC).
• Azure Policy and Conditional Access Policy.
• Microsoft 365 tenant/service administration (Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams).

Must be able to work in CET hours (MY time 2pm–11pm)
