A leading chemical distribution company in Shah Alam is seeking an experienced Accounts Executive to manage inventory monitoring and financial reporting. You will prepare stock reports, assist with month-end closing, and contribute to general accounting tasks. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of relevant experience and proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and Office. This role offers a collaborative environment with opportunities for growth.
Liaise with Operations Department to monitor inventory movement.
Prepare monthly stock reports including turnover, write-offs, returns, adjustments, and variances.
Provide ad-hoc reports as requested by Management.
Assist with month-end closing and general accounting tasks including journal entries and reconciliations of carriage inwards/outwards, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, and bank transactions to support the Penang branch.
Any other duties as assigned by the superior.
At least 3 years of relevant working experience
Proficient in computer applications, especially Microsoft Business Central (BC) and Microsoft Office
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Positive attitude, self-motivated, a strong team player, and demonstrates high integrity
Strong ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
