A reputable manufacturer in Shah Alam is seeking an HR Assistant Manager/Senior Team Lead to manage all HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, and compliance with policies. Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of HR generalist experience, with 2 years in a supervisory role.

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is a MUST.

  • Oversee recruitment process from initiation to final selections.

Our client is a reputable manufacturer of precision components and modules in high‑mix low‑volume, with specialization in very complex machining, high surface finishing and product cleanliness. They are an established supplier for many major global players in the Optical, Semiconductor, Diagnostics, Medical, and Life Science industries.

Job Summary

The role performs all human resources related duties in the areas of staffing, performance management, learning management and ensures policies compliance for the company. Together with the executive, it ensures smooth running of the department to support daily operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Recruitment & Staffing
    Recruitment process from initiation of hiring to final stage of finalizing
    candidates for both local and foreign manpower.
    Managing job postings, interviews, and hiring processes to ensure the
    company attracts and retains top talent.
    Overseeing onboarding & offboarding process
    Support manpower planning for each department.
  • Learning Management and LMS (Mtalent)
    Maintain and update competency matrix for each department biannually
    Responsible to conduct and facilitate bi‑annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
    Collaborate with HODs to develop training plans that are in line with
    company and departmental business goals
    Training programs coordination and scheduling, ensure all trainings
    are completed on‑time accordingly.
    Ensure training progress are well documented and reporting are
    accurate following ISO guidelines
    Take charge of all Learning Management and Resources
    Management using LMS system, from onboarding to completion of
    probationary training
    Manage and coordinate for content development for Mtalent, Support
    Mtalent Content Management tasks, including video taking and simple
    editing for learning purposes.
  • Employees Performance Management
    Responsible to conduct and facilitate bi‑annual Performance Evaluation in a timely manner.
    Based on evaluation outcome, compile areas of development and succession planning of each department, for the purpose of employees learning and development.
    Collaborate with HODs to finalise Employee L&D plan for each staff
  • Compliance and Policy Management
    Ensuring that the company complies with labour laws and internal
    policies
    Ensure all HR ISO documentation and Work Instructions (WI) procedures are recorded and updated accordingly.
  • Employee Relations
    Addressing employee concerns, managing conflict resolution, and
    promoting a positive workplace environment.
    Drive staff engagement activities for a cohesive culture eg team
    building coordination, including being the anchor member of Bluezone
    committee to drive and improve committee activities to enhance
    employee wellbeing and morale building
  • HR Administration
    Oversee HR administrative tasks, including attendance system
    Manage expats work visa
KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • At least Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 7 years of HR generalist with 2 years in a supervisory level, with strong HR operations experience and preferably in high‑tech manufacturing industry.
  • Highly adept with technology
  • Good knowledge of Employment Act, payroll administration and work visa or expatriate management will be an advantage.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is a MUST.
  • A strong leader with positive attitude, result oriented, excellent team player.
