Job summary
A leading logistics company in Malaysia is seeking a Sales Coordinator who will assist in daily operations, customer communication, and ensure workflows meet client requirements. Responsibilities include market research, scheduling appointments, and liaising with both local and overseas offices. A candidate with at least a diploma in logistics and 2 years experience in freight forwarding is preferred, though fresh graduates are welcome to apply with training provided.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of work experience in international freight forwarding preferred.
- Good knowledge of Import & Export operations will be an added advantage.
- Good command in English & Bahasa Melayu, both written and oral.
Responsibilities
- Assist in operational daily work for Sales Coordinator.
- Communicate and liaise with customers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct market research and schedule appointments.
Skills
Education
Responsible for assisting the operational daily work for Sales Coordinator in Klang Valley and other states of Malaysia.
In charge to approach and follow up with customers in Klang Valley and other states of Malaysia.
Assisting to ensure that the Sales workflow is delivered and meets the clients’ requirements.
Communicating and liaising with customers. Create and maintain contact with customers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Handling assigned local and overseas communication.
Accomplishes department and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
Market Research.
Scheduling of Appointments.
Preparing and following up on quotations.
Liaising with overseas offices.
To work on service level improvements.
To undertake other special assignments, ad-hoc functions, and related duties specified by the management as and when required
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
Required skill(s): computer literate, presentation preparation and report, communication skill.
Good knowledge in Import & Export operation will be added advantage.
At least 2 years of work experience in an international freight forwarding is preferred.
Fresh graduates/junior/entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply as training will be provided.
Good command in English & Bahasa Melayu (both written and oral).
