Responsible on preparation of Financial Reporting in accordance with Group’s policies and compliance.
Responsible for overseeing monthly closing and timely submission of monthly Management Accounts including Financial Management Report for the division. To interpret financial information and analysis to Management while recommending further courses of action of improvement and efficiency.
Preparation of tax estimation and tax returns.
Manage and supervise accounting team to achieve efficiency and effectiveness
Responsible and actively involved in the planning and control of the master file and chart of accounts of the “IFCA-dot-net” system (integrated system of accounting, sales and project modules) used by the Group
Preparation of annual budget, periodic forecast, financial analysis and monitoring.
Planned and managed cash flow and all banking facilities of the division to ensure efficient use of funds and adequacy of working capital and minimize financial risk.
Ensure implementation of internal controls and process improvements including review Group Policies and Procedures for enhancement and improved internal controls.
Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost reduction opportunities and undertake risk management process in accordance with the Group’s Risk Management framework.
Responsible on compliance to requirements of Housing Development (Housing Development Account) Regulations, where applicable.
Liaising and attend to auditors, company secretary, tax agents to ensure compliance with relevant Accounting and Audit Standards including statutory requirements and taxation matters.
Any other duties that commensurate with this position as assigned from time to time, including attending to bankers for application/maintaining financing facilities for the division.
REQUIREMENT
Degree in Finance, Accounting or ACCA holder or related equivalent professional qualification.
Work experience for at least 5 years, with holding a managerial or accountant position for at least 2 years.
Attentive to details, alert and capable of identifying business growth and cost saving.
Excellent leadership skills and able to supervise, motivate and develop the Company’s finance team.
