Job summary

A logistics service provider in Subang Jaya is seeking a candidate to manage transportation services and ensure timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have a minimum diploma in logistics and at least 5 years of experience in shipping across sea, land, and air. Responsibilities include collaborating with vendors and tracking shipments. Experience in the retail or fashion industry is also an advantage. This role requires strong skills in inventory management and distribution strategies.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Transportation provider management to ensure reliable and cost-effective delivery services
• Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery and address any issues that arise during transit.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to coordinate the movement of goods and ensure timely deliveries.
• Track and trace the cost performance of supply chain with respect to business performance in alignment with contractual terms.
• Collaborate with vendors for accurate billing to the right accounts.
• Create and manage transit-time dashboard accurately to provide reports to stakeholders.
• Generate regular reports to provide insights into supply chain performance through system.
• Ensure the adherence of warehouse team on inbound and outbound volumes by patrol and audit programmed to produce consistency goods, regulatory compliance products, and meet our expectations.
• Manage warehouse inventory and keep records of the inventory and manage budgets.
• Respond to and resolve complaints and problems.

Education

• Minimum Diploma level in Logistics Import & Export Controls, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management or related field. Major in logistics is an added advantage.

Skills

• Inbound & outbound process flows, forecast & inventory management, distribution strategies etc. Retail products management is an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in sea, land and air shipping experiences or equivalent in the similar position. Experience in Retail / Fashion industry is an added advantage.
