Assistant Security Supervisor
Job summary
A leading company in Malaysia is seeking a qualified security supervisor to conduct inspections, monitor premises, and ensure safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of supervisory security experience and an OND in a relevant discipline. Responsibilities include overseeing surveillance systems, responding to incidents, and compiling reports. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work effectively in a team. Training in First Aid/BLS and self-defense is also required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of OND in relevant discipline and 3+ years of experience in industrial security at supervisory level.
- Good understanding of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
- Experience in report writing and strong observational skills.
- Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and patrols of premises for safety compliance.
- Monitor property entrances and authorize entry as needed.
- Identify and report suspicious behaviors promptly.
- Secure exits, doors, and windows to maintain property integrity.
- Oversee surveillance cameras for effective monitoring.
- Respond to alarms and security incidents swiftly.
- Assist individuals needing support on the premises.
- Compile detailed reports of surveillance activities.

Education

- Assist individuals requiring support or guidance on the premises.
- Compile and submit detailed reports of daily surveillance activities and any unusual occurrences.
- Must have minimum of OND in relevant discipline plus ten (3+) yrs of experience in industrial security at supervisory level.
- Good understanding of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
- Report writing experience withCritical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal and communication skill.
- Outstanding surveillance and observation skills.
- Trained in First Aid/BLS and self-defense.
- Team player.
- Good time-management skills
