Job summary
A tech company in Malaysia is seeking a Systems Engineer (Windows & Linux) to support telephony and infrastructure systems. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in System Engineering and be proficient in Windows and Linux. Responsibilities include monitoring system performance, performing deployments, and managing short-term projects. This is a fully on-site role located at Tropicana Avenue, offering a balanced work-life routine.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in System Engineering.
- Ability to manage and complete short-term projects, including system upgrades or optimizations.
Responsibilities
- Support existing telephony and infrastructure systems.
- Perform deployments and maintain day-to-day operations.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and security.

- Malaysia based tech company delivering customised strategies and integrated solutions for cloud computing, network monitoring, unified communications and collaboration.
- Over more than 200 clients onboarded and exciting projects on RPA and unified communications!
- Support existing telephony and infrastructure systems.
- Perform deployments and maintain day-to-day operations (BAU activities).
- Manage and complete short-term projects, likely involving system upgrades or optimizations.
- Monitor system performance, reliability, and security; proactively address issues.
- Optimize system configurations for maximum efficiency and uptime.
- Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Proficient in Windows & Linux
- Independent Worker Thrives without micro-management!
- Willing to Travel ️ Comfortable visiting client sites within the Klang Valley area and outstation (Averagely 2/3 days per month)!
- Infrastructure Management ️ Ensuring robust and efficient system architecture!
- Network Management Optimizing connectivity and performance across all networks!
- Mid-Level Role : Minimum of 2 years of experience in System Engineering.
- Reporting Structure : Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead and System Consultant.
