We are seeking a skilled and reliable Technician/Handyman – Electrical to join our maintenance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of electrical installation, repair, and maintenance tasks, along with basic general handyman duties to ensure the proper functioning and safety of our facilities and equipment.
- Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, outlets, lighting, and fixtures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and replace or repair defective components.
- Install new electrical systems and upgrade existing wiring as needed.
- Support general maintenance and handyman tasks including plumbing, painting, carpentry, and minor HVAC work.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working condition.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, materials used, and time spent.
- Assist in preventive maintenance schedules and contribute to overall facility improvement projects.
- Education: Diploma /Technical Certificate in Electrical or related field.
- Experience: Minimum in electrical maintenance or similar technician role.
- Licensing: Valid electrical technician license (if required by local regulations).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, and safety standards.
- Hands‑on experience using electrical and general maintenance tools.
- Ability to perform basic handyman tasks outside of electrical scope.
- Good communication and problem‑solving skills.
- Physically fit and capable of handling tools and equipment safely.
