A global telecommunications infrastructure service provider is seeking an Operation Technician in Selangor, Malaysia. The ideal candidate has a diploma in a relevant field and 1–2 years of experience in facility operations. Responsibilities include maintaining civil works in the facility, coordinating with vendors for part replacements, and providing operational support to engineers. The role requires strong problem-solving and communication skills, with a focus on safety and compliance in all operations.
We are looking for a dedicated and hands‑on Operation Technician to support the maintenance and smooth operation of our Network Support Facility.
In this role, you’ll perform maintenance work, coordinate with vendors, assist the Network Operation Centre (NOC) team and engineers on‑site, and ensure all facility systems run reliably and efficiently.
Maintain and operate all civil works and facilities within the Network Support Facility.
Provide timely support and coordinate part replacements with specialist vendors.
Perform preventive, corrective, and incident maintenance to ensure smooth and continuous operations.
Assist engineers and the NOC team with on‑site technical and operational support.
Supervise and coordinate building and equipment maintenance activities.
Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation on facility performance and maintenance activities.
Be on standby to attend to any maintenance requirements or emergencies as needed.
Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with company standards and SLAs.
Diploma or equivalent qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or a related field.
1–2 years of experience in facility operations, maintenance, or a related technical role.
Basic understanding of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety practices.
Management of heavy equipment or materials as part of daily operations.
Strong coordination and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with internal teams and vendors.
Willing to perform on‑site support, work overtime, and be on standby for maintenance calls.
Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
