Job description
Leadership Responsibilities
  1. Lead and supervise the third-party on‑duty team to ensure the standardized and orderly conduct of daily operation and on‑duty services.
  2. Be responsible for the operation inspection, abnormal handling and documentation of electrical, HVAC, water supply and drainage, fire protection and other systems within the data centre park during the on‑duty shift.
  3. Guide on‑duty staff and outsourced on‑duty personnel in implementing operating procedures to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations and service standards.
  4. Handle emergency incidents during the on‑duty shift, report promptly and organize initial responses.
  5. Review and submit relevant documents such as inspection forms, handover records and equipment abnormality reports.
  6. Coordinate the work arrangement of third‑party personnel to enhance team execution and on‑site discipline.
Operational Responsibilities
  1. In accordance with the shift supervisor’s instructions and roster, be responsible for the inspection, meter reading and operation recording of equipment within the assigned area.
  2. Assist in handling operational abnormalities and simple faults to ensure the stable operation of systems.
  3. Comply with operating procedures and safety regulations to ensure all operations meet standard requirements.
  4. Coordinate with the work arrangements of third‑party maintenance personnel and provide necessary technical assistance.
  5. Be responsible for recording equipment operation data, completing work orders and reporting shift handover information.
  6. Maintain the cleanliness of the on‑duty area and uphold good on‑site order and work image.
  7. Report emergencies promptly to the shift supervisor and cooperate in completing emergency responses.
Leadership Requirements
  1. Educational Requirement: Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Automation, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or related majors.
  2. Work Experience: At least 3 years of experience in facility operation and maintenance or equipment operation on‑duty, 1+ year of team management experience is preferred.
  3. Professional Competence: Familiar with the operation and inspection processes of power supply and distribution, HVAC, water supply and drainage, fire protection and other systems in data centers or large‑scale buildings.
  4. Team Management: Possesses shift leadership experience, able to guide and supervise the third‑party on‑duty team in daily operation tasks.
  5. Emergency Response Capability: Able to organize initial responses and report effectively in emergency situations.
  6. Language: Proficient in both Mandarin and English (working languages). "We are looking for Mandarin‑speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin‑speaking customers.".
  7. Sense of Responsibility: Diligent, with strong execution ability, and good safety awareness and service awareness.
  8. Certification Requirement: Holders of electrical qualification certificates or relevant technical certifications are preferred.
Operational Requirements
  1. Educational Requirement: Diploma or above in Electrical Engineering, HVAC, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering or related majors.
  2. Work Experience: At least 2 years of experience in operation on‑duty or facility/equipment operation, experience in data center on‑duty is preferred.
  3. Professional Competence: Have a basic understanding of the basic structure and operation of electrical, air conditioning, water supply and drainage or fire protection systems.
  4. Compliance with Arrangements: Able to cooperate with the shift supervisor and third‑party team to complete inspection, meter reading, operation and other tasks.
  5. Language: Proficient in both Chinese and English (working languages).
  6. Work Attitude: Strong sense of responsibility, hardworking, and able to accept shift work.
  7. Safety Awareness: Comply with operating procedures and possess basic safety protection knowledge.
  8. Certification Requirement: Holders of relevant certifications such as electrical qualification certificates or air conditioning operation certificates are preferred.
