Job summary
A leading beauty retailer in Kuala Lumpur seeks a dedicated team member to manage store performance and customer service. Responsibilities include monitoring sales targets, executing merchandising standards, and ensuring effective communication and product knowledge among customers. The ideal candidate will have at least secondary school education and some experience in a retail setting. Strong numeracy and communication skills will help you excel in this role while representing the brand values.
Qualifications
- Minimum secondary school education is required.
- 1-2 months of experience in a beauty or fashion retail environment preferred.
- Basic skills in numeracy and communication are essential.
Responsibilities
- Monitor store sales and KPI targets to meet or exceed them.
- Complete necessary training programs and apply learning on the job.
- Execute Visual Merchandising standards to enhance store presentation.
- Process merchandise deliveries and manage store operations efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service following Brand standards.
Skills
Education
Be aware of store sales and KPI targets, take ownership over them and use all available store resources to meet or exceed them
Collaborate productively and respectfully with team members
Complete all applicable training programs and effectively apply the learning on the job
Seek coaching and learning opportunities to continually improve your performance
Execute and maintain established Visual Merchandising and In-Store Communication standards
Follow all established policies and procedures
Process merchandise deliveries quickly and effectively, and constantly replenish merchandising fixtures to ensure the store’s entire product offer is represented on the sales floor
Complete cash register transactions quickly and accurately
Minimize loss in both, the stockroom and the sales floor
Perform all store operations in a safe, effective and efficient manner
Execute the Brand Customer Service standards to meet or exceed customers’ expectations
Be a Brand Ambassador, consistently exhibiting the Brand Attitude and Values
Use Brands and product knowledge effectively during sales interactions
Communicate product features and benefits and unique selling points clearly to address customers’ needs and strengthen their connection to the Brand
Minimum secondary school education
1-2 months working in a beauty/fashion customer and commercial-focused retail environment
Basic numeracy, literacy and verbal communication skills
