• The role is expected to develop and qualify new suppliers or alternative source together with Procurement team.
• Major duties include translating supplier capabilities to design team on new designs, confirming supplier conformance, resolving supplier issues, and managing supplier changes.
• High preference for candidate with rich background of transceiver testing and CoC assembly and testing.
• Willing to work flexible hours to accommodate worldwide facilities and suppliers in different time zones.
• Review supplier material quality performance in quarterly base, make score and feedback to supplier for continuous improvement.
• Lead the material level failure analysis and drive supplier to identify the root cause and implement correction and prevention.
• Collaborate closely with Procurement and R&D in selection of new suppliers to support cost reduction, continuous supply and new design project.
• Review supplier part/product/process change request and coordinate with internal functions for risk assessment.
• Guide and review supplier first article report.
  

• BS degree in engineering of corresponding optics or physics. Advanced educational qualifications will be a plus.
• Minimum 5 years of experience related to high-speed transceiver testing or manufacturing
• Working experience related to components inside of transceiver & in quality management of high-speed transceiver is a plus
• Good understanding and knowledge of Optical transceiver manufacturing process, testing and spec and application requirement.
• Knowledge and experience in passive or active components will be a plus.
• Familiar with quality systems, ISO9001 and industry standard such as GR468, MIL-883
• Proficient in suitable quality tools such as 8D, MSA, SPC, DOE, FEMA etc
• Capable of doing troubleshooting against transceiver failure
• Ability to use data analysis tools such as JMP or equivalent

• Highly motivated individuals who is self-starter with dedication to teamwork, and strong willing to learn new things and taking more challenges.
