Join Lam as an IT Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of designing, analyzing, and implementing applications and systems that form the foundation of our infrastructure. As a crucial member of our IT team, you'll contribute your technical assistance and guidance to projects for various systems and infrastructures. Acting as a technical liaison, you'll address complex business problems with automated systems solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving Lam's commitment to innovation and efficiency.

What you’ll do

The UC Engineer will serve as the primary contact for the Unified Communications (UC) project rollout, encompassing Microsoft Teams-enabled devices, video conferencing, telephony, and digital signage technologies. This role requires close collaboration with local business units, global UC teams, and the GIS team. The UC Engineer will play a key role in identifying, prioritizing, developing, implementing, and managing technology services and digital workspace solutions across multiple regions.

Who we’re looking for
  • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required.
  • At least 5 years of experience supporting Microsoft and Teams environments.
  • Minimum of 3 years of related experience including workplace/end-user service design and management, commercial digital workplace application (web-based collaboration tools) and equipment.
  • Microsoft certified IP phone deployment and management (Polycom Trio, CCX, AudioCodes, etc.).
  • Microsoft Teams certification desirable.
Preferred qualifications
  • Demonstrate in-depth expertise in Microsoft Teams deployment, operations, and troubleshooting.
  • Provide advanced knowledge of cloud connectivity and network infrastructure supporting enterprise architecture.
  • Design and manage Microsoft Teams environments effectively.
  • Deliver hands‑on experience with voice services, especially Microsoft Teams Enterprise Voice.
  • Lead and coordinate the deployment of new voice and video infrastructure and applications.
  • Guide project teams through successful implementation phases.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of cloud VoIP and video conferencing solutions, including Microsoft Teams, Logitech MTR, and Poly Teams phone systems.
  • Deploy and support video streaming infrastructure and CDN solutions.
  • Deploy and support digital signage solutions.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and platforms to ensure alignment with business needs.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on‑site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On‑site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On‑site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on‑site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1‑2 days per week on‑site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
