Job summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Engineer to play a key role in the success of our operations and client relationships. This role combines strategic planning, operational oversight, and technical delivery. The Operations Engineer will be accountable for managing day-to-day slickline operations, building strong client relationships, and driving the growth and profitability of client accounts.
- Act as the primary liaison between clients and internal teams, understanding and aligning with customer needs, challenges, and goals.
- Oversee slickline job execution from pre-job planning, equipment readiness, and personnel mobilization to post-job review.
- Ensure high-quality, safe, and efficient service delivery at the wellsite while minimizing non-productive time (NPT).
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with client stakeholders and internal departments.
- Drive business growth by identifying upselling opportunities and introducing new technologies and services to clients.
- Provide technical support for slickline tools including downhole gauges, memory logging tools, fishing tools, and mechanical services.
- Analyze operational data and portfolio performance to support strategic decisions in collaboration with segment leadership.
- Accountable for revenue collection, contract performance, and client satisfaction.
- Support QA/QC and maintenance of slickline equipment and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in operational engineering, preferably in the oil & gas or energy sector.
- Minimum 5 years and above experience with slickline or well intervention operations is an added advantage.
- Strong commercial acumen and a solid understanding of account management and customer-focused service.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, field-based environments.
- Knowledge of industry technologies and readiness to adopt and implement innovative solutions.
