Job summary
A construction firm in Penang is seeking a supervisory professional to coordinate site works and oversee the quality of construction projects. Responsibilities include managing site personnel, ensuring safety protocols, and resolving disputes as they arise. Qualifications
- Strong supervisory skills to oversee site works effectively.
- Ability to liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors.
- Discipline and independence in managing site progress.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate site works and resolve any issues.
- Liaise with workers and sub-contractors for task arrangements.
- Ensure safety regulations are followed on-site.
- Attend site meetings as needed.
- Report any disputes to the Project Team and HQ.
Skills
Liaises with key site personnel (client, consultant and main contractor) in coordinating site works and resolving site issues.
Liaise with workers and sub-contractors on work arrangement in accordance to site work program.
Responsible for quality and workmanship control.
Supervise building structural works
Notify of any disputes which arises to the Project Team and HQ
Ensures site works are carried out according to works programme.
Ensures site works are carried out in a safe manner.
Attends site meeting when required.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Management from time to time
